We had an overall excellent experience at Beside the Loch. -Great location to explore everything around the Fort William/Glencoe area -The Self Catering Cabins were very clean and had all of the necessities provided -Unexpexted amazing view of both the Loch and mountains right from the living room -Esther & Nick were incredible hosts, very nice & welcoming. Willing to go the extra mile for their guests. Like when we couldn't figure out the living room heater (big switch we overlooked...), Nick came up and helped us out at 10PM to make sure we had heat. If you're planning on visiting the area, stay here!

Beautiful view on the lake, small and cozy place with everything we needed, a private beach where the children could play after a day of sightseeing. There are many beautiful hikes in the surroundings and Fort William is a short drive. Also a small supermarket and restaurants at a small driving distance.

Everything! This is an absolutely gorgeous hideaway near Glencoe and Fort William. The cabins are perfect - comfortably and really nicely equipped with high-quality cookware and crockery (Denby!), furniture, comfy beds... warm and cosy too. Huge big windows overlooking the loch and mountains, which sometimes turn pink at sunset. The hosts are the loveliest family, really friendly and relaxed. It's miles better (and better value) than anything else we have seen in the area. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again.

We had an amazing stay at the Lodge on the Loch Onich. Very authentic place and kind people. Children/toddler friendly, and delicious food at the restaurant (in fact one of the best we tried in the UK). The view on the loch is incredible. We'll be back for sure !

All the staff were friendly and made a real effort to engage in conversation with our kids. The room for a family of five plus a large dog was a brilliant size and the food at dinner was great.

Such a wonderful location - the views are spectacular across the Loch. The chalet/cottage (Kerrera) is small but perfect for a couple or family with young children. Four adults may find it "cosy" and would need to be on very good terms! The condition of the cottage was excellent - the "Frequency Asked Questions" suggested that all we would need to bring was food and clothes - 100% true! Would we stay again? - definitely... we are looking to book again in a couple of months.

Excellent host and perfect accommodation for our family of four and one dog. Lovely views over to Loch up towards Fort William and the car ferry outside our room which the children enjoyed. Breakfast was fresh and cooked to order and the evening meal was also very good. I would and probably will stay here again so I can throughly recommend.

Fantastic location. Easy enough to find. Room was clean, comfortable and warm, hot shower what else do you need. Then woke up to a lovely cooked breakfast with incredible views across the loch. Families with kids will love the animals, goats sheep, chickens, ducks, even a rabbit came up to the window to say hello 👋 Very nice hosts, would we book again ? 100%

Both Halina and Alan are very helpful. Self catering facilities are excellent, you can book your time for use for your family privately. A huge lounge our teenagers had some time with boardgames etc. Decking is really nice. Nice views of Loch Lineh from the deck and parking area. The only quable could be the ferry alarm goes off and occasionally wait in small queue to get in as ferry entrance is next to it but not a big deal at all.
