The Old Guest House, Norbury Avenue, hotel in Norbury

A recently renovated guest house, The Old Guest House, Norbury Avenue offers accommodation in Norbury.

The room was in a kinda backhouse. The room was clean and presented well. Has it's own bathroom/toilet. There was a tv with netflix and the lot. That was nice. Someone met me to had over the keys and give me a walk through. That was also nice. But was comfy. Backhouse had a kitchen for cooking which i did make use off. And my stay was pleasent. It's about a 6 or 7 minute walk from nourbry station. And a train to central London is about 20 minute ride. Area seems nice and suburbia.

Norbury is in South London and has very good transport links to central London and west to Wimbledon. There is Norbury Park and the area is pleasant and quiet. Within 10 mins walk there is Streatham Common with open views as well as a lovely garden to wander through and relax The Rookery A walled garden that would not look out of place in a BBC costume drama. Stunning throughout the year and still relatively undiscovered by the residents of South London. The gardens are beautifully maintained by a justifiably proud set of volunteers.
