The room was nice and well catered. The pub/restaurant had a very nice atmosphere and decent drinks and food options. The staff were friendly. The car park was more than big enough.

Stayed one night to break a long journey.

Stayed one night to break a long journey. Comfortable rooms and beds, free parking and wifi. Noisy "family orientated" public spaces - Alton Towers is nearby. Bar is expensive and restaurant isn't a restaurant - think pub grub - and is also over priced. Usual crowd smoking at the main foyer entrance. Breakfast is £20 pp and pretty good. Pity really as a lot of money has gone into the interior design and decor and the estate is lovely and has some nature walks - not that anyone uses them.
