The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The food was delicious - our compliments to the chef. There is a pretty view of the water from the back deck. There is no lift and we did have to shift our luggage up two flights of stairs. (We are two friends over 70)

Beautiful location, close to ferry! Nice shower and bath. Large towels. Breakfast was decent but they forgot to put the sausage on the plate and when asked, said they would bring it but had already finished eating before it arrived.

The hotel is definitely 3 star in terms of rooms and facilities, but the staff are 5 star. Very friendly, accommodating and super helpful. We travelled with 2 dogs and the hotel was very accommodating.

The view to the sands of morar are amazing that’s where the good review ends . We got put in room 30 at the top of the building . The shower head on the shower would not stay high enough on the rail just kept sliding down 😳 The window in the room didn’t shut right so there was a draft constantly which made the room cold . Also when the wind got up there was a constant noise which kept my wife up all night . Over all hotel very tired and dirty not worth the money avoid .

The Morar hotel is located in a small picturesque village overlooking Morar bay and sands.
My wife and I had a two night stay over and enjoyed the hospitality of the hotel staff when we used the dining room and bar facilities. All of the staff members looked after us impeccably, in particular Akram and Tuan worked hard to ensure our stay was memorable.
We would certainly recommend the Morar hotel for a relaxing stay in a beautiful location.

Morar is very quiet which was perfect for us.
Morar is very quiet which was perfect for us. It is also very well placed for exploring the surrounding areas. The beach was perfect, just like in the photos! The hotel was excellent, a very good menu and tasty food. Welcoming atmosphere, excellent staff and nothing was too much trouble. We went to Mallaig, 3 miles away, and took a boat trip and got to see Minke whales! We also took the ferry to Skye, just 45 minutes away, and had a fantastic display by dolphins following the ferry!

Morar Hotel is a lovely refurbished hotel with great views from the restaurant and the bedroom we had. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful and the food was good. Excellent buffet choice at breakfast.
Mallaig was only a couple of miles away and there was a boat doing free sailings until the 31st March which we recommend. The dog also had a great holiday running around the beautiful beaches and in and out the water.
We were allocated a room at the front of the hotel which overlooked the road. I asked for a change to one at the rear of the hotel, with a view of the loch and Skye. We were immediately moved to a room with breathtaking views across the loch and the sea, to Skye. The room was clean, modern and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant menu was extensive with different and familiar options. Breakfast included haggis and black pudding, a definite plus! The staff were all very helpful and friendly, especially Tuan and Akbar.
Light and airy. Beautifully clean and well provided with linen and kitchen essentials etc. Lovely couple of owners very pleasant and helpful. Quiet and peaceful situation, easy to walk to loch morar, and a short scenic car or bicycle ride to mallaig or arising . Would definitely recommend it to all our friends wanting relaxing sanctuary. Easy parking for all.
The view was absolutely beautiful, it looked over the sea. The location was super convenient, we took the ferry the following morning and was just a mere 6 minute drive from Mallaig. The service was also really good, I asked for a hair dryer and one was promptly delivered by hand to my door.
The location was amazing; near to so many beautiful beaches and gorgeous scenery. The hotel itself was good although the Superior room was much smaller than we imagined it was going to be. The staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurant was lovely.
Location was excellent. Views of the silver sands of Morar and the Isle of Skye were spectacular. Staff at the hotel were friendly, professional and attentive. Good standards in room and throughout the hotel.
The hotel is opposite the railway station and has ample parking. My room overlooked the wonderful Morar Silver Sands Beach and was comfortable and very clean. Heating and ventilation excellent.
The view from the hotel room of Morar Beach was outstanding and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our on suite was clean and shower was good and hot. The bedding was fresh and crisp.
Hotel situated in a beautiful area , very friendly and polite staff . Good parking, food was ok a little pricey, drinks were expensive . overall disappointed
Morar was a good base for an active holiday with beautiful views of the white sand beaches.
It is a family run hotel. Requests were dealt with promptly.
Can't answer this as we didn't actually stay. The hotel was so bad that I left and drove 3.5 hours home instead of staying. As such cannot give example
