Lovely quiet room with very comfy bed. Rooms are situated in a separate block at the rear of the property and are well equipped and comfortable. Good pub food available with a great variety of choice.

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Large room. OK bed (could accommodate a king-size easily in the room). Dressing table/desk which was good, although needed lighting on it. Tray for dirty footwear which was a great idea.

A wonderfully quiet location but only a 5 minute walk from the village pub. Rose Cottage is a very traditional country accommodation with lovely proprietor and a wonderful full English breakfast. It was perfect for my one night stopover. I was even offered space in the garage to store my motorcycle overnight which was a lovely touch. The cottage sits well off the road and the private parking area is well away from prying eyes, so motorcyclists should be happy there.

The welcome was friendly.We were shown to our room by a member of staff.The room was excellent, well furnished, clean and cosy with a modern environment-suite, great shower.
We had food in the evening, the small plates are great value and super quality.
The breakfast was also great quality, plentiful, tasty and a great selection to choose from.The breakfast was expertly handled by Sharon who was efficient, friendly and attentive.
The location is right in the centre of the town.
