Lovely room separate to main pub. Nice little fridge in room with a small bottle of fresh milk for drinks very welcome. Very good food in the evening at a very reasonable price and great cooked breakfast.

Location was great, didn't get a chance to visit the local pubs. Breakfast was in the room ready for the next morning which was perfect for me as I wanted to be away without any fuss.

The hotel pool is lovely and warm, the sauna and steam room are well looked after and at perfect temperatures. The hotel is modern, has nice facilities and a nice lounge area in which they have a bar. The rooms are beautiful, my partner said this is the best bed his ever slept in and my fave thing was that the room even had speakers built in to the bathroom for when you’re in the shower so I could have a sing (to do this you have to connect your phone to the TV).

I gave it a good instead of an excellent because I didn't like the fact that they were hoovering behind us while we were eating breakfast. Would have been much nicer if they had waited until we had finished.

A great place to stay if you are going to an event in Loughborough. Really well located. Easy to get to/from motorways and to the town. Clean, felt safe, value for money, warm welcome. Can park close to the room.
The Old Tailors Cottage is situated within the small picturesque village of Long Whatton - North West Leicestershire, 5 miles from Loughborough, near East Midlands Airport a few miles from Leicester, Nottingham and Derby. A modernised 2 bedroomed cottage with a quirky twist provided a pleasant experience for a long weekend. Adjacent is a village store and farm shop supplying adequate provisions.
We booked very last minute due to our original hotel in Loughborough being overbooked. The Falcon Inn contacted me straight away to check if we needed a dinner reservation and we were happy with the bed set up. The pub is great and the room in the converted stables have lots of character, are spotlessly clean and have everything you need.
Friendly staff. Very clean, comfortable, and well appointed room (even has a mini fridge!). Loved the history of the property. Private parking for hotel guests. Dog friendly. Despite being close to the M1, property was quiet and situated in a lovely village.

I liked being able to support a independent business at a price lower than the big airport hotel chains! The room was a good size with useful amenities and a great comfy bed, slept like a log.
