Location was fabulous. Not a word I use very often so there you go.Right on the Quay at Fowey. Bedroom overlooking the square. Fabulous. Breakfasts were very nice.

Breakfast was very good, all you could ask for. Enjoyed the first morning in with the children. Then moved into calm of restaurant for rest of stay.

A very peaceful location with many opportunities for woodland walks, and also for river leisure activities such as swimming and paddleboarding.
The village shop is well stocked with simple basics, as well as nice treats. The Ship Inn also does a good range of beers and ciders.
Be aware that the road beside the river can get flooded at high tide
