We received a very warm welcome. Even though the pub was closed, the owner immediately said she'd make us dinner and we could get drinks whenever we were ready. Dinner was lovely. Our room was a very good size, with a large bathroom that had an amazing shower. Everything was clearly lovingly decorated. We had a good choice of items for a continental breakfast the next morning. We'll gladly return here!

We couldn't fault this B & B. Comfortable ,clean and lots of extras such as nibbles, chocolate and dressing gowns. Breakfast was delicious and brought to the room by Isabelle. Highly recommended.

The dinner and the breakfast were delicious. The location was great - the town was charming - and the walk along the Wye River was lovely. Our hosts, Tony and Wendy were very friendly and helpful - helping us find accomodations in Snowdonia for the following day. We would definitely return if we are in the area again.

It is beautifully located, has excellent facilities, including comfortable and well fitted bedrooms, an extensive car park and a residents bar. The en suite shower in my room was superb, and the breakfasts were well cooked, plentiful and very tasty. Tess and Nigel are warm, friendly and welcoming hosts, who go that extra mile to make you feel at home, with bottled water, biscuits and chocolates in your room.
