Attention to detail, with there being a fridge in the room which was stocked with fresh milk, wine, beer etc. The breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. The owners were very welcoming and nothing was any trouble.

Although the room was a little small, it was quite satisfactory for a night or two. The bed was comfortable and the cleanliness very good. The vegetarian breakfast was excellent, as was the egg mayonnaise sandwich with salad and chips. The bar is friendly and during 'Wacky Wednesday' the beer is cheaper to buy. I had the impression that 'Locals' frequent the bar, which is a good sign too. Parking spaces are plentiful, which given the location is essential.

The location is wonderful, the room and bathroom were big and modern, and the country views are perfect. The area is very nice for people who like to be far from the noise of the city and at ten minutes distance from it.

Great location, very central with walking distance to many pubs and Indian restaurants. The recommended Indian was great. The couple were very friendly and welcoming. The room was cosy and clean with many extras. The highlight was the breakfast, freshly cooked and great quality. We'd definitely stay again.

Not much choice in terms of restaurants within walking distance unless you love curry (the one I went in was very friendly and the food was good though - but I was the only person in there!); lack of signage to get down to the footpaths/riverside walks.
