First its an older hotel, but very close to Gatwick, with a very early flight they start the breakfast at 4AM which was great since I was leaving at 6am. The room was fine, the bathroom modern with a great shower, really all my surprises were on the positive side. I would definitely recommend for a short term stay near Gatwick airport. Nice small local shopping area with good parking, a pub and lots of people hanging out on a Friday evening. There's takeaway pizza, kebabs, fish and chips and Chinese all on a row. There's also at least three convenience stores a green grocer and a post office.
