Very good indeed, super comfortable ground floor room, with view. Had breakfast and evening meal there, dining room is beautiful, tastefully arranged plants and flowers. View over a lovely garden and hills. Charming hosts, one of which is a talented chef. What lovely prepared and tasty food it was. We stayed 3 days and nowhere was too far away to drive to seaside. We took our little dog, large grounds to walk and she loved the space to run around away from the house. They have everything there, including a pool. Just perfect.

We enjoyed the peaceful location in a picturesque setting.
We enjoyed the peaceful location in a picturesque setting. A short walk to the centre of Honiton with a nice selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The Yellow Deli, Mama Mia (Portuguese) and The Holt are good places to eat. Good local bus service to places such as Lyme Regis, Seaton, Sidmouth and Axminster at a reasonable cost. Train to Exeter is also a short walk from the Honiton town centre.
Plenty of other places to visit within the surrounding area.

I booked a room with a queen bed and was given a standard double. The traffic noise was horrendous, the traffic even made the bed vibrate. I had to put the radio on at 6am, I couldn't stand the noise any longer. I packed my bag and left as soon as possible. When I arrived I was told the restaurant didn't open on Monday's, it's the chef's night off. It would have been useful if I had been made aware of this beforehand, there isn't really anywhere to eat nearby. The most awful place I have ever stayed, and I do travel a lot for work .I felt it was very expensive looking at the room which was in dire need of refurbishment, absolute rip-off. The owner was very unhelpful when I contacted him afterwards

A lovely stay in a rural location.
A lovely stay in a rural location. Comfortable accommodation for four adults, two young children and a dog. We loved the private apple orchard with great views of the land and took advantage of the barbecue and picnic area one evening. Our children really liked the 'entertainment' room on the third floor where games, books and the TV are located. Also a great location for dog owners - just look out for cows and where you step! 😄 Over all a very nice stay.

We loved spending 2 hours in the pottery painting shop, where the choice included delicate wildflower embossed mugs and other practical pieces to paint.
The town boasted an excellent display of the lace making heritage, along with high quality cafés and clothing shops.
Plenty of parking in high season and good value supermarkets right nearby - large store Co-op and Iceland.
Wide main street extending approx half a mile, with off shoot parking.

Honiton looked pretty but the pub was closed and the Thai restaurant advertised at our accommodation didn't exist. We had to drive ti get food, bot good after a five hour journey followed by a funeral . I think we were unlucky. The area itself was stunning.

Typical small Devon town, we visited the area for a wedding so place was a convenient walk to the venue, didn't eat out so cant comment on the take away or pub situation. Place we stayed was brilliant, private, relaxing with a hot tub and hosts were very helpful and friendly. Communication before from the hosts was excellent also.
Good sized room with large & very comfortable bed. Parking on site. Excellent breakfast menu; great choice, beautifully cooked. Fabulous food served at The Railway in the evening - wide selection of fresh fish, along with other menu choices. We intended to eat out in local restaurants in Honiton during our 4 day stay, but the food was so good that we dined in-house every evening. Very friendly owners & evening serving staff. Top marks for this B&B.
Wonderful breakfast
Fantastic hosts
Lovely Sunday roast
Great shower
Nice space outside the room with chairs
Very dog friendly - a bed, water bowl and treats were provided as soon as we arrived
Serves the wine I like
Fridge in the room with fresh milk
There are bus stops right outside the pub - the No.20 takes you into the seaside town of Seaton although not all the bus services/times are listed at the bus stop.
We stayed here for a one night stop off on our way back from Cornwall. It looked like a cheaper option than hotels en route, and was dog friendly too. We were blown away by the quality of the property, incredibly clean, spacious, and with a really luxurious finish. Great living space and huge kitchen. We'd definitely stay again if back in the area.
We spent two nights at the Greyhound while exploring east Devon. We received a warm welcome and were made to feel at home immediately. Our room was comfortable and well equipped. The food and beer were both good. The staff were all exceptionally polite and helpful and had obviously been very well trained. We had a very enjoyable stay.
Almost everything, there was nothing missing that we could have needed,
Lot's of little touches that made it feel home from home
Location perfect for nearby Honiton and trips further afield, Exeter, Lyme Regis etc
Views exceptional, very quiet location, slept well
Harry and his wife were very welcoming and helpful
Spacious self contained accommodation with everything we needed. Characterful property beautifully adapted for modern living.
Welcoming and friendly hosts with great knowledge of the local area which enhanced our stay.
this place was amazing, nice room, lovely pub and they even throw in a hot tub for good measure, my go to place while in Devon. I usually stay at premier inn but this is far more personal and it was right up my street
We stayed as a few of us stayed overnight as we were doing a skydive locally. It was very spacious, clean and the breakfast was great. Staff were very welcoming. Very good value for money xx
Breakfast perfect, good choice.

Very cute, great location to walk into Honiton.
Beautifully decorated, with everything you need.
It felt very homely and cosy, plenty of room for two
couples as there is two bathrooms.
Our host couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful and the property was very light and well presented. The plants and the sparkly lights were a lovely touch
Location of the property is excellent as close to the centre of Honiton where there are lots of shops and places to eat.
