The room was very nice and the bathroom top notch. While it is a pub for locals, the food was excellent - best steak and burger we’ve had in ages - and half the usual price! Fab value!

Spacious and spotless room and en-suite, excellent breakfast, welcoming host, quiet and picturesque rural setting with good parking, only a few minutes from M5.
Accommodation is very much off the beaten track and you...
Accommodation is very much off the beaten track and you definitely need to add time onto any direction times given by the sat nav as the roads are tiny. But it is worth persevering. Some lovely pubs to eat at (would recommend booking) and beautiful villages to explore. Great place to also start for some of the larger tourist destinations around Devon and Somerset (once you are off the village roads).
