The room was lovely and the view spectacular.
The food was amazing, we had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and we literally have negative to say
Midway between Southwold and Aldeburgh, this modernized, rustic inn has an excellent restaurant and refurbished, stylish rooms. It is an ideal base for exploring the Suffolk Heritage Coast.

We had very comfortable beds and the room was warm. They provided a nice dog bed, treats and towel and our dog was made welcome.

The property was beautiful, spacious, clean, efficient and was perfect for our stay.. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful and welcoming. We had everything in "Lark Rise" we needed for a comfortable stay away from home.
Halesworth is a fantastic town. Steeped in history, some properties are 800 years old. Ancient House cafe lovely. Explore on foot. Very dog friendly, we don't own one, but cuddled lots. Angel and White Hart do great food. Explore laneways and side streets, ghosts a many too!

We went to Southwold cycling over the marshes, Minsmere RSPB,
Aldenburgh and surrounding areas birdwatching.
We ate mainly at the property.
Traveling around was easy and fuel was a good price.
We enjoyed our time very much and there was no negatives

We didn't actually visit Halesworth, we only really drove through it and of course it was the location of our chosen accomodaation - CORNER FARM (which we highly recommend!)
Suffolk is a lovely county. The countryside is amazing and within just a few miles, there are lots of restaurants (booking essential) places to visit, with the coast of Southwold approx 15 miles away. The country roads are narrow and unlit, but traffic is light.

My purpose in visiting was to spend time with an elderly relative. Hence I used very few facilities. From previous experience Halesworth is a good base for exploring a lovely part of Suffolk/Norfolk

Great town in the middle of Suffolk, 30-40 mins by car to other main cities; great outdoor activities (walks/hikes) and great natural environment. Definitely recommended for those who are looking for an escape into one of the most beautiful English countrysides.

The location and parking were good.
The location and parking were good. The property was clean and reasonably comfortable although only one twin sofa and one armchair.
Only one saucepan and no lid for it. I would have expected at least two saucepans.
Check in at 5pm rather late.
I was surprised that we were required to empty the bins and strip the beds prior to departure. I had assumed that a cleaning charge is factored into the price.
Lovely quiet area around 15 min drive to halesworth.. which is fine. pub close by

Fantastic location for trips to the nearby coast and situated in this quirky market town of Halesworth. We got a wonderful reception from amazing staff with great food and incredible breakfasts. The quintessential boutique hotel with beautiful rooms and attention to detail. A hidden gem worth searching out.
The location was absolutely amazing for us as we have family that live in Halesworth so was only a five minute drive away. Great coastal locations around the area within a half hour drive. The property was immaculate and had plenty of the necessities. Overall a great stay!
Host was super friendly and provided a lot of info and suggestions on things to do around the area. Facilities were kept at the highest standard, similar or superior to a 5 start hotel. Location was great with many footpaths/walks close by. Definitely recommend it!
Very friendly and helpful hosts. Very clean well kept and comfy rooms. Breakfast was excellent, continental style but see later. Also very quiet location near to Halesworth a nice little town with nice shops and places to eat. Lovely garden.
The hosts were great. The accomodation was spotless and comfortable. The bathroom was large and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious. Who needs to pay Southwold prices when halesworth has so much to offer?
Gorgeous little place in Halesworth. Totally lovely team running it and the most perfectly cooked breakfast I've had in a long time - recommend! Beautiful bath and super comfy bed.
Made to feel really welcome. Had a good chat over breakfast. Made me a fantastic takeaway brunch too. Plenty of safe parking around the hotel. Loads of goodies in the fridge!
