Very convenient to the train station. Very clean and very nice amenities. Beds very comfortable. No breakfast included - no big deal.

The setting is beautiful, and the staff at the main reception and restaurant were very polite . The lounge had some lovely views and the beds were very comfortable, the room and bathroom were larger than expected - we choose the budget option twin room and expected a shoebox sized place, yet the room was spacious and had everything we needed. It was a very travel-able distance to the Burghley Horse Trials, which is what we came there for.

A beautiful room, comfortable and warm with a hearty breakfast. I only wish I could have stayed longer. The bathroom was beautifully appointed with a spacious shower and bath option. Bed was soft and comfortable. Plenty of charging points for devices and good internet connection. The host was gracious and friendly.

We stayed here for our 15th wedding anniversary. The stay was great start to finish, very clean hotel and great breakfast. Staff was great, we requested for some water in middle of the night around 3am and a member of staff brought us full jug of water up to our room within 1 minute, highly recommend. Good spa facilities included room booking.

We stayed at Vale View Barn for 2 nights as we were going into Grantham for the Pork Pie Making Experience. We spent the day in Grantham, had lunch at Wetherspoons and walked along the river and around the park before going to the Pie Making Experience. A very pleasant day. Vale View Barn is excellent, beautifully furnished with everything you need and the owners are extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately first thing in the morning the swimming pool was full of unsupervised shouting splashing children.
Not my idea of a spa retreat I'm afraid...
Pre booked or reserved children free times would have helped...

Our visit was mainly visiting family in Corby Glenn, so our experience of Grantham was just to visit to find a restaurant (one evening). Delighted to find a good Turkish restaurant; found parking nearby, so our (limited) trip to Grantham was great!

The location was very nice.
The location was very nice.
Tables were cleared but not cleaned.
No cocktail menu. No dry martini. Limited larger choice one after a short while.
Gin and tonic served in a cracked glass.
Not what you would expect from the details given of the hotel.
Evening menu not great waited nearly a hour for our meals.
However a lovely breakfast.
Disappointed with what should have been a special treat.
This was a return visit using the hotel as a stopping point on the way from London to Leeds. Located in town centre with very good parking. Reception staff very friendly and helpful and spotless bathroom and comfortable bed. Breakfast was served by Gareth who was extremely helpful and professional. It turns out I was the first person having breakfast in the function room as they had up until that time used the dining room downstairs. Very tasty breakfast which set me up well for the day.
location ideal for walking to town. parked outside on the road, so easy access
Host friendly - moved to ensuite room as available (i had originally booked private bathroom, but then emailed by host to say it was outside the room...)
It was ok for an overnight stop - closer to town centre than other well known budget hotels
Breakfast was fine, served quite quickly, which served our purpose
We had a great stay at Belton Woods meeting with friends as it was a mid-way point. The hotel is gorgeous & the pool was great, especially for kids (you just need to know the hours), we had a lovely meal, Indie was so accomodating as we had 4 children under 5 & provided such good service. Everyone loved it, great family rooms.
Location near A1 was ideal, very warm welcome by the reception team who were very professional and attentive. Hotel was warm and the room very spacious. Bathroom has been modernised and is very nice. Hotel is having maintenance work done and will be great when it is complete, this had no detrimental effect on my stay at all.
Amaya Five is a walkable distance to the town centre. The property is very clean and very comfortable. It had a well equipped kitchen for cooking and laundry. The shower had plenty of hot water and had a good pressure. I would stay here again. Thank you Lloyd for checking in.
Super cosy room, we asked for twin deluxe room it was a family room so bigger which was great. Nice bar with good selection of drinks with outdoor seating at front of hotel.
Hosts were very friendly .
Beds were fantastic best night sleep within our trip.
I thought the elderly gentleman and his family that ran the hotel together with his family was very generous and helpful in making my stay as comfortable as possible, I loved the history of the places and it was a pity I was only there for one week
Very spacious and comfortable room, with all that you would require for a stay.
It was better than a hotel room for which you would pay more than twice the price.
Although we didn't go into town, it is a short walk to the town centre.
We needed an overnight stop, it was just off the A1 and I didn't want to stay in one of the "chains" - The Gregory was cheaper and much better IMO, service was friendly food was great and in all just what was needed
Very well equipped, clean and tidy appartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay
Close to town centre but quiet aswell
Good communication with host
Cannot fault the place, well worth a visit
Great location. Good access to places around Grantham and the coast that is less than an hour away. Beautiful estate. Shower great. Staff very helpful and cordial. Well worth a stay.
Nice accommodation in a listed building in the centre of Grantham. Rooms were fine, with comfy beds. Nice bathroom.
The host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.
Its a great property, clean, well located for Grantham city centre and with all the basics that you will need, Netflix was a nice added bonus on the tv.
