Spacious and well decorated. Very welcoming staff and owners - enjoyed chatting with locals at the bar. Gave advanced notice in the morning that kitchen wasn't open for dinner but were offered use of cutlery etc for takeaway. Great location with enough parking outside. Continental breakfast was a nice change and there was a varied selection of items with freshly brewed coffee.

Comfortable room, a bit dated but I liked it. Large bathroom. The owners were lovely, friendly and accommodating of our later check in time. Good breakfast spread in the morning.

Findochty is a lovely quiet town, right down on the Moray Firth Coast. It is close to slightly larger towns such as Buckie and Cullen if you need more shopping and other facilities. Since it's on the coast you can great views of the Moray Firth (weather-permitting) and it's reasonably close to a wide range of cultural and out-door activities. The Speyside distilleries are about 45 minutes away.

A lovely small village within good hiking distance to surrounding villages. If you are a walker and don't mind a two to three hour hike this is an ideal location to visit surrounding
villages. A wonderful escape from the hustle of city living.
