Great location. Easy parking outside. Lovely village and very close to walk to the harbour, pub, fish and chips and local shop. Downstairs bedroom and en-suite was ideal as one of our party has mobility issues. Lovely large kitchen/diner.

We've stayed in several of the old fishing villages on the Moray coast, but Findochty is the finest: gorgeous vistas, especially from the perfect situation of the property. The village is very quiet and peaceful, and so is the house - didn't hear a peep from any neighbours. The owners are very friendly, and thoughtfully left a bottle of wine in the fridge.

The house has been beautifully furnished and decorated with real attention to detail and well stocked kitchen equipment. We stayed in February and there was a plentiful supply of logs to ensure we stayed toasty - the log fire made the living room really cosy. The village has a lovely harbour and you can walk up to the War Memorial for a lovely view. There is a wee shop and one pub which has a big restaurant but I would still advise you book in advance as it was super busy when we were there but the food was great.

Fantastic location within the beautiful, scenic village of Findochty. Friendly pub serving good bar meals 2 mins walk and short car drive to additional eating places in Cullen and Portknockie. House is exceptional, very modern and luxury at every turn. The smart house settings worked a treat and we really could not fault anything. The owners have done an amazing job in renovating to such a high standard. Ideal for a family of four and the outside space was also private with great seating arrangement and BBQ.

The property was very comfortable and the view delightful. Very central charming fishing village with many others to visit along the Moray Coastal Path to east and west, with sandy Cullen beach nearby for swimming, and many rocky bays to explore. The Whisky Trail is also accessible inland! The dog bed was well used by ours…
