Excellent position close to the sea and the town. Nice welcome and check in very straightforward. Large room with sea view. Very clean. We didn't use the restaurant or bar but looked nice. They do a cocktail happy hour. We wanted a last minute night away by the sea and this hotel was very reasonably priced. We were lucky to secure unrestricted on-street parking a short distance away.

Nice seafront, looks more upmarket than some seaside resorts. Plenty of places to eat and drink although watch out for pubs closing early out of season. Beginning of May and the harbour pub closed at 10pm. Love floating restaurant Exe Cafe, but have to book well in advance.

I used to live here so very happy to return for a more lane visit. It is an ideal place for families with good safe beaches, good travel facilities for access to other areas of Devon by bus or train, especially to Exeter’s excellent shopping. Not the most interesting of towns but good middle of the road unpretentious place to visit & enjoy.

Exmouth itself is an attractive holiday resort for all the family. Superb sandy beach with many facilities, wide range of hotels and restaurants, railway and buses. Many restaurants serve a wide variety of fish menus. One is able to walk and walk and enjoy the variety of houses, streets, special buildings, the market and the coffee/snack outlets. An extremely satisfactory area for all ages, albeit rather steep roads if one walks from the sea front upwards.

A small town with friendly atmosphere. Lots of good charity shops! The town museum is worth a visit. There is a mix of independent and high street shops and places to eat. We chose both. Exmouth is very compact and within easy reach of the beach.

Food was Good, although they were 'out' of a quite a few options. Had dinner, bed and breakfast, which worked well and was well organised. Staff were good in restaurant. Room was a really good size, and clean, but the hotel does look tired and is in need of some work. Eg, some stairs had carpet, which was threadbare, whilst the next flight had no carpet! Had the junior suit, but really it was a family room, as it had a bunk bed in the second area, so wasn't what we expected. Should have just booked a double room.

The staff were very helpful in finding us a ground floor room as my partner was struggling with his breathing. The location was great, just across from the beach and close to pubs and restaurants. We met with friends and had food/drinks at The Engine Shed which I would recommend. The room was basic but clean. The hotel could do with some updating. Not worth £127. I have stayed in far better hotels for much less. However, Exmouth Pride was on, so this could be why the price was so high.

Excellent seafront location. We booked a standard double but we're upgraded to a large sea view room. I mentioned it was my birthday and the man on reception left chocolate brownies and a birthday greeting note in our room, which was a lovely touch. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite. There were lots of nice toiletries in the room. It was very clean. There was parking in front of the hotel for £6

Older style hotel with a comfortable homely & " Lived in " feel. Staff very helpful, friendly & welcoming & a perfect location in its own large grounds right on the seafront & just a few mins walk from town centre. Most Devon beaches are very well maintained, safe & clean. I believe it can get quite crowded in the summer but it is perfect in the winter if you don't like crowds !

I liked returning to Yves town cottage as our first choice of place to stay when visiting family in Exmouth. It is very conveniently located - only 5 minutes walk from the train station and less than that to the shops. The wifi is reliable, enabling me to participate in a school governors video meeting during my stay. The kitchen is decently equipped and rooms clean.

Arguably Exmouth's oldest hotel. The composer Franz Liszt was a guest there. Splendidly located high up on the Beacon. Tastefully modernised throughout, large elegant breakfast room served a good breakfast, My room was spacious with a view through trees towards the coast. Comfortable bed and excellent bathroom which looked recently installed

A great place to stay, Estuary view is a lovely apartment, clean and spacious, with a wonderful view as the name suggests. It was close to all the amenities, including within walking distance of the beach, plus on site parking. Debbie was very helpful and prompt in her communications and greeted us with delicious cake!

A nice hotel, a little dated with the decor however pleasant enough to stay in. Staff were friendly and helpful. The sofa pull out bed was not the most comfortable but it did the job. The room was warm with plenty of rads to dry bits n bobs on. The swimming pool was lovely and warm as was the hot tub.

This was ideally located for what I needed as I was needing to stay in central Exmouth to attend a funeral and visit family. I was travelling by myself so although it’s a completely separate private annex, it was ideal that the owners were just next door if I needed them.
