Lots of nice touches tissues shower gel and shampoo soap at the sink,coffee making machine ,nice selection of tea and coffee and biscuits.

A wonderfully quiet location but only a 5 minute walk from the village pub. Rose Cottage is a very traditional country accommodation with lovely proprietor and a wonderful full English breakfast. It was perfect for my one night stopover. I was even offered space in the garage to store my motorcycle overnight which was a lovely touch. The cottage sits well off the road and the private parking area is well away from prying eyes, so motorcyclists should be happy there.

This was our second stay. We stayed here when we cycled from Land's End to John O Groats two years ago and this time we are cycling coast to coast. We consider this accommodation to be one of our treats on the trip. Friendly staff and excellent quality rooms, fittings and fixtures.
