Definitely not 3 first class snobbish upmarket overpriced chicken coop, but a decent hotel, at a good price staffed by locals who went out of their way to go 'the extra mile'

Absolutely fabulous place to stay, rooms are lovely and food excellent
Set in over 7 acres of gardens, The Parkway Hotel & Spa in Cwmbran boasts a leisure club with a 15-metre swimming pool, sauna and spa bath. There is also a restaurant and lounge with a real log fire.
This historic country inn has delicious food and luxury rooms. It is within a few km of the famous Celtic Manor Resort, home of the 2010 Ryder Cup. The Old Barn Inn dates back to the early 1750s.

Pleasant village/town with a good history and an interesting Roman fortress/baths.
Recommend sitting outside of the Hanbury Arms on sunny day with the meandering river and diving birds.
