I have marked everything as poor for the following reasons; This was a confirmed booking, I emailed the owner a few days before and I spoke with the owner on our arrival date before traveling, on arrival there was no key so I contacted the owner who said he had now cancelled the booking and emailed myself and Booking.com.
Booking.com have confirmed they had no email and neither did I, very bad way to treat people.

Broughton is surrounded by Ouzel Valley Park which connects two of Milton Keynes biggest lakes with walking paths and cycle routes. There's plenty to see and do along the way including a community orchard! Kingston retail complex has a number of restaurants, shops and a Tesco Extra hypermarket. Last but not least, the M1 is within 5 mins and centre MK is a 10 min drive away so overall Broughton is one of the better locations in Milton Keynes in my opinion. Things to do with the family include Gulliver's Land, Willen Lake (both less than 10 minutes away), Woburn Safari Park (30 mins drive) to name only a few.
