Absolutely fantastic! I stayed in one of the apartments- had a kitchen with all the works, living space and bedroom. Super comfortable bed. Very clean. Exceptional! Restaurant serves a fantastic meal and breakfast. Right on the path of the Camino! One of my favorite stays!

Wonderful clean and comfortable room. Fantastic shower. Welcoming friendly host. Full kitchen including coffee, salt, oil- we made pasta for dinner. The market in town is surprisingly well stocked.
Very few hotel options so make reservations early.
Very few hotel options so make reservations early. No A/C in hotel but it cools off every evening and we opened windows after sunset and room cooled quickly. If you sleep hot like us ask for a sheet. Enjoyed dinner we had the daily menu and enjoyed all great options it was 3 courses for 22 euros each. Also make reservations.

Roncesvalles is very small, but it is in a beautiful area. The location was perfect for a spending a relaxing and restful afternoon and evening, prior to walking the next stage of the Camino Francais.

This hotel in an old monastery is wonderful - all modern inside but tastefully done with lovely lighting - stone floors in the reception- very accurate photos from the pictures I had the feeling it was very rural but in fact was on a main road and on a hairpin bend but despite that I didn’t hear much traffic It’s spotlessly clean and the surrounding area is gorgeous. I would definitely recommend

Don't rush through Roncesvalles.
Don't rush through Roncesvalles. There is quite a lot to see & do. There is a tour in Spanish of the Museum. It is nice to spend some time in the Iglesia without the crowds at Pilgrim Mass. Charlamane's Silo is fascinating.
The luggage delivery service in Saint Jean Pied du Port (Express Bourricot) suggested that I book a room here instead of sleeping in the dorms at the monastery because the first day of The Camino, up and over the Pyrenees Mountains, is the most difficult. I'm very happy I took her advice. This place was luxurious. The food in the restaurant was not great. It was just okay. In all other ways, it exceeded my expectations.
The location is very good if you do not need anything to buy for your next day trip immediately. It is just on Camino but 2 more km to Roncesvalles where a closest shop is. Very helpful staff. Equipment of the hotel looks like new. I had a radiator in my room which was great because I had something to dry my laundry on. Clean and pleasant hotel.
Hosteria Sabina is very good. It serves good meals for a very reasonable price. The rooms have good television and Wifi. Many pilgrims start the Spanish Road here. In Roncesvalles you may still experience the old "Camino de Santiago", much more than later on during your long walk! (Buses almost daily from Pamplona).
Arrived in Roncesvalles tired, wet & dirty after the Camino & was so relieved that this hotel was literally there at the end!

The room was nice and clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet met my needs. The hotel doesn't have room service and I didn't realize dinner reservations were required. The staff graciously let me order from the menu and let me take it up to my room.
The room was amazing on the top floor. Big, cozy, silent.
Roncesvalles is a small village with a lot of history and culture.
Tourism Office is 30 meters from the hotel entrance with experts about what to do in the zone.
Really authentic hotel along the camino. Old building and atmosphere, but the room was modern and clean. I would really recommend it. The meals are superb for the price, especially dinner.
The hotel was very nice and the room very spacious and well designed. It had a bar and a Restaurant which was helpful as we didn't have to run somewhere else for breakfast and/or dinner.
