We loved Nuria’s service! She was an incredible host with lots of great recommendations to get to know the area. The hotel was beautifully decorated and has a great backyard. Breakfast was also very nice. I would 100% recommend this stay, one of the best we’ve had in our trip in northern Spain.

It's a convenient location on the Camino del norte (about 400m from the camino path) but note it is in the middle of nowhere (sort of a truck stop next door). Rural setting. Wifi worked. Used the correo luggage transfer service, and that worked well. I booked a single room and it was a spacious twin room. Very reasonably priced. Towels provided. Walls quite thin could hear people talking in room next door.

Stayed in the old part of this property. Absolutely gorgeous historic Indianas building and a thrill to stay there. Lovely quiet room with beautiful quality linen and towels. A pleasure on the Camino!
Character and design of hotel was outstanding. There were multiple sitting areas, including an enclosed foyer with seating and vending machine for Camino walkers who depart very early in the morning. The owner-proprietor’s hospitality was excellent; he carried one of our bags to our room. When he observed we were having coffee on our departure, he brought out some cookies for us, which was totally unexpected. We loved the feel of the place. Highly recommended, one of those hotels that you do not forget!
The hotel and the rooms are intricately decorated to the finest detail. It was a delight to spend time in the sitting room in front of a grand fireplace, or lounge in the beautiful room. There was a large jacuzzi bathtub, so I took a bath! I haven’t done that in years.
The gentleman host was very helpful and friendly at every step from check-in, to telling me how to find the grocery store and where to find the best restaurant.
This is an exceptional establishment. I recommend highly.
The owner's warm hospitality instantly made us feel at home, which was especially appreciated after a long day on the Camino from Luarca. The hotel's prime location and charming decor make it a true hidden gem, well worth the price. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and provided us with excellent recommendations for both dining and sightseeing.
This place is highly recommended—we'll definitely be returning!
Wow, what can I say, after a really long stage on Camino (30km) we arrived in casa xusto to a warm welcome from the owner, and he even got us a beer while we checked in.
The rooms are fabulous, perhaps the best hotel I've stayed in during the camino.
The owner takes a lot of pride in the place.
So give yourself a treat and stay at this hotel you won't be disappointed.
We arrived from the Camino in a torrential downpour. Pepe welcomed us and offered us a beer and some jamòn. He was the perfect host, making sure we had everything we needed.
The hotel was once a 200 year old barn with a residence above. The attention to detail, stone walls, wooden beams and antique furniture made this a very special stay. Don’t miss it!
Conveniently located on the Camino, this hotel is contained within an historic building. The facilities are excellent and the owner an outstanding host who goes out of his way to ensure you are looked after. I became very sick while I was here from a food poisoning incident from the night before. I will be forever grateful for such generous hospitality.
Absolutely exceptional experience. Beautiful hotel surrounded by the elegant garden. The room was nicely decorated, everything was pristine. The bathroom seemed new (or it was perfectly maintained and cleaned). Internet signal was strong. The owner welcomed us warmly, helped with our luggage, and recommended local restaurants.
It's definitely not for us but for what it is, I think it's an OK hotel. People that like this style might appreciate this hotel. The staff was nice and the yard is tastefully manicured. The room was quite big and the bed was confy. There was ample parking space on the property.
This is a nice hotel ie loads of character, its host most welcoming, clean and comfortable and would certainly stay here again if in La Caridad. From a pilgrim perspective down the road is a bar that does very reasonable well cooked pilgrim food at modest prices
Spectacular hotel, especially for walking the Camino Norte. Stunning facility, gardens, rooms and bathrooms. Host very kind, helpful and encouraging. 100% sure would stay here again. Would be perfect for week stay, driving around the area.
Wonderful hotel in a historic building full of character. Pepe is an absolute delight and went out of his way to make our stay 10 out of 10. Attention to detail is second to none. Highly recommend and would certainly stay here again.
The hotel is great for any occasion. The rooms are big, clean and the decoration is very nice. The host, Pepe, is very friendly and recommended me many good places to go. I recommend this hotel to anyone passing through La Caridad!
Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Meticulously set up. The hotelier went out of his way to look after us on those little personal touches - like heating a dish for us, and providing wine glasses etc. The room was glorious.
