A really nice homely apartment, unlike some rental apartments, which are sparce and cold, El Rinconcito was furnished with a lot of thought and care, which made it feel very welcoming. Sonia was very helpful, and the complex was clean and quiet. We arrived a bit early in the season, so the whole area had not come to life yet, but what we did see looked nice. Not your rowdy beach front venues.

La Azohia is beautiful. The views around the bay are magnificent as are the sunsets. La Azohia is a fishing village popular for watersports in particular diving and snorkeling. The beach in the center is stony so plastic shoes are recommended but the water is very clean and refreshing. There are sandy beaches closeby if preferred. There are a few restaurants but it is a quieter resort than Mazarrón which is a 15 minute drive away. The mountains behind the village are great for hiking.

Coastal resort is exceptionally windy.
Coastal resort is exceptionally windy. Small and quaint but there are much better coastal resorts elsewhere. Perhaps good for a short break somewhere different has a few restaurants, descent sandy beach but doesn’t offer much else. Wind and yacht surfers paradise but the rest of us then don’t book a lengthy stay here suggest a few days no longer
