We enjoyed our stay in Casa de Hilario very much! The room was very nice, it had a big panoramic window with a lovely view. The apartment was spotless and it was cleaned every day of our stay. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast very much, also the dining room and the balcony where the breakfast was served were comfy and inviting. The staff was friendly.

The place is spotless, very comfortable, everything you might need. Good shower pressure, and a nice touch with the water available. Safe to park the car as well. We would definitely stay again.

El Golfo is a world on its own. Tourist visit the beauty of playa de los Ciclos and the many fish restaurants. When one leaves the roundabout at Yaiza through the tunnel, one understands the beauty of the speciousness of the natural scenery.....and still; everything is easy to reach from there.

A car hire is a must . El Golfo, you can walk to the end of the village in 10 mins .
There were about 10 restaurants in El Golfo. We tried 3 . By far the best was Costa Azul . Great food friendly staff . Excellent place to view the sunset .

Location, style of the property, and friendly host were all first class.
Cleaning services were a bit random and we ran out of toilet paper and shower gel.
Also, parking is not private although is advertised as such.
Plenty of excellent restaurants within 5-10 minute walk and fabulous sea views all through the village.

Great location at the end of the tiny town of el golfo. Nothing but the sound of the ocean at night - so relaxing! Also right next to a great fish restaurant that we visited (almost) every night!
Also the sunset was unbelievable!

Location and views. Very clean. Steps up from car park a problem with heavy luggage. You need a car at this location but having visited before we knew that. Nice little restaurants along the road - not too pricey. I would imagine in the summer the location is perfect as the pool area was very nice.

El Golfo is a small seaside village which has only a little accommodation which makes it very quiet at night. You can get to other parts of the island easily from there, particularly the volcanic area and the national park, and also the playa Blanca area. There is some very pleasant accommodation e.g. Hotelito del Golfo and a about half a dozen restaurants to chose from.

The place to be in El Golfo !
From the moment you open the little door you feel under the spell of this magic place. You also feel immediately home.
This is the best spot in El Golfo to enjoy the ocean and the marvellous landscape. Andres has renovated his family house with a lot of taste and simplicity which is all we love when we travel. Our room was extremely quiet and confortable with a big kitchen apart which was eventually very convenient.
Jacqueline and Dimitri were such good hosts. I was too late for dinner at the local restaurant one night and they shared their meal-- fresh caught fish!-- with me, refusing payment. (Not that this can happen often.) El Golfo was a great place to stay, unique. A nice terrace looked over the ocean just steps away. It was close to many interesting sites, and towns. Nice breakfast, too.
The location was very good, a quiet hotel tucked away in a small place at the coast. A lovely view, a pool if needed,a well kept and tasteful garden. The breakfast was exceptional, every day a loving small change. There was nothing to complain about in the room, the small fridge suited our needs very well. A small library helped us out when had read all our books.
Absolutely lovely place. Really enjoyed spending time on the roof terrace and the top floor admiring the views, while the sleeping room was comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. At walking distance from the main sights of El Golfo too. The owner was very responsive throughout the stay.
Highly recommended - casa Juanje in El Golfo was spacious for two, very clean and fully equipped. Small kitchen - but you won't need it much with the fantastic restaurants around. Everything was perfectly prepared, with a wonderful welcome package and fast and nice communication.
El Golfo is a very nice village with white houses without hotels, very good to take a rest with the "locals", good restaurants.
Casa mar y lava is very nice, new and clean, excellent. Fabiola, our host was very kind and helpfull.
Go there for some days and you won't regret!!
The house itself is nicely located in the charming El Golfo village. We liked that the entrance is a little further away from the street from a small dry garden. The location is very quite. Everything was very clean. Tv with Netflix access was a nice bonus.
The host are very nice and welcoming. Even if you are at their place you feel like home! They are very open and helpful.
The situation at el golfo and in front of the ocean is great! Add to this you have a fully breakfast with a view!
I would like to thank Luisa, that she allowed us early check-in, because we arrived to El Golfo early. Otherwise the apartmemt is wonderful. Bed is big and comfy and the kitchen has everything you need. Would definitely come back ☺️
