Casa Tabaiba is a charming beach house located in the scenic village of El Golfo. Comfortably furnished, A/C (extra cost), and offering sweeping views of the sea and surrounding volcanic landscape from the roof terrace, the house is an ideal retreat to relax and recharge. The house has three floors, with the main kitchen and living room on the ground level, the bedroom and bathroom on the first level, and a roof terrace with nearly 360-degree views. The top floor has a kitchenette with mini-fridge and stovetop to make a cup of tea or coffee, a comfortable chill out area enclosed by sliding windows and doors to protect from the elements, and an outdoor sun deck. The bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed (180cm wide), a small sofa-bed suitable for one person, and a comfortable workspace with office chair, desk and computer monitor for guests wishing to work remotely. Casa Tabaiba is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac with no traffic. You will be only a few steps from the beach itself and several high-quality restaurants serving fresh seafood and other local fare. The house is also a short walk from the famous Green Lake (Charco Verde / Charco de los Clicos). Guests should take note before booking that Casa Tabaiba has three floors, and the stairs to access the roof terrace are slightly uneven. Anyone who is uncomfortable regularly climbing and descending stairs, or with reduced mobility, should consider other accommodation. As is common in El Golfo due to its unique location, our house uses an automatic water pump to provide running water. The pump is located in a closet in the main kitchen, and runs when water is used, generating some noise. While not a significant disturbance, guests should be aware that this is not something we are able to change.
