Very clean apartment with great facilities, in a quiet street in the old town. Close to the main plaza. Everything about it was great. We were even able to make ourselves an espresso before we headed off.
Communication with host was also very good.

We were walking the Camino de Santiago and we stayed in this apartment overnight on our journey. It was fantastic, and just off the route, so a perfect location. The host was incredibly helpful, supporting me with finding a dentist and arranging for our luggage to be delivered to the apartment before our arrival and then picked up when we had departed. Fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful old city with great architecture and lively nightlife. The Camino Inglés winds through the city, making it especially convenient for those walking that pilgrimage route to Santiago. We happened to be there during tortilla celebration week, and the Betanzos tortillas are a speciality. Best hint - find the small cafe/bars located through the “arches” in narrow streets just off the main plaza.
Rooms are beautiful, clean, comfortable, conveniently located to the Camino DeSantiago. enjoyed the air conditioning which is not usual in this area and I stayed on a particularly hot humid night. it also allowed me to close the window so I couldn't hear the street noise. noticed I forgot my sunglasses and hat after hiking for about one hour. With a call, I was able to leave a message in broken Spanish, and my things were waiting for me at the next hotel for a fee of €30. much appreciated!
The property was very homely. The rooms are all unique from each other with different themes. We stayed in a room which was decorated with books. I’ve stayed in many different properties and it was unique. We were surprised that our room had a microwave which was very useful for heating up some food we had. The bed was extremely comfortable. It felt like we were at home! The location doesn’t have a a hotel vibe but instead it feels homely. Love love love. Would definitely go back!
A very comfortable apartment in the Camino Inglés. Isabel and Teresa were very helpful and friendly. Extremely clean and well stocked. The two complimentary bottles of water were very appreciated. Quiet area but very close to Betanzos plaza Dos hermanos and several places to eat. Washing machine was huge asset. The bed was big and comfortable.
Really nice hosts, who picked us up from Betanzos while we were walking the Camino Ingles. The room was really cute, and the outside garden was nice to sit in. They would have taken us back to Betanzos for dinner, but we had brought some food and wine and just stayed to enjoy. The next morning they brought us back to the Camino.
The young woman at the front desk, Laura, went out of her way to help me. She was very kind and I was really touched by the assistance she gave me. The hotel was in a good location, and the breakfast was very nice as well and was included. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay in Betanzos!
Lovely comfortable apartment right along the Camino Ingles & and only a few minutes walk to the heart of Betanzos. Easy communication to arrange checkin & our host also had suggestions for places to eat during our 1-night stay. The little cakes for breakfast were a nice touch.
Hostal Pórtico was new and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. We had a double room with a balcony overlooking the street. There’s a really good restaurant downstairs for dinner. The hotel is close to Camino Inglés. Would highly recommend.
Great location. Betanzos is all hills so there’s no avoiding them. This property was easy to find, and easy to navigate from. As a pilgrim, and after walking for hours, I wanted easy.
Friendly staff with a very warm reception. Above average breakfast. For what we paid in similar hotels this week... this was a bargain! A cute hotel in a lovely city.
