Hotel Britz is a lovely little hotel/apartment which was very clean. The building suffers from some eastern european blok fatigue, but that may also be it's charm. The rooms where very well taken care of and enjoyable.
The smell of the river, mentioned by others, was luckily not a problem while we where there!

We could check in earlier than official time and check out a bit later. Parking for free. Close to all places of interest. There is a bycicle storage. A quite nice swimming pool and whirlpool for free. Rooms are clean and newly reconstructed. We slept very well. Breakfast was fine. Receptionists were very nice and helpful.
This hotel is located in a residential area of Tanvald, 500 metres from the centre. The on-site restaurant serves Czech and Italian cuisine including pizza. Breakfast is served every morning.
