Great location for using rail transport. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Good selection at breakfast buffet. Restaurant meals [closed on Sunday] were of very good quality and a good selection of wines were available. Val d'illez is a small Swiss mountain village situated in a valley near the ski village of Champery and ski lift centre of Les Crosets. It is small and facilities are few and supermarket is small. Own transport is necessary to make the most of your stay.

Great hospitability! The food at the restaurant was amazing, the staff super friendly and professional. The rooms are larger than usual in mountain resorts, very clean and well equipped. There is a small train station at 10min walk from the resort taking you to Champery, so quite practical if you don't want to drive every day to the ski lifts. Plenty of walking paths around the resort, lovely view. Hard to complain - we will come back for sure!!
Absolutely great hotel located in a picturesque village. We had a lovely room with a big balcony and a fantastic view. Staff was really nice and polite. Top highlight is a restaurant that serves local food. We especially recommend trying the fondue and the raclette. Thank you so much for an amazing stay. We will definitely go back!
I loved the view! The appartment is close to lots of spectacluar walks (10min to Champéry by car). Also that you can take your pet with you!
Also super cool is that you can get breakfast delivered to your appartment, as well as fondu and raclette! There is also other foods like pizza that can be delivered.

Simple, immaculate rooms with design twist. Caravan room was particularly fun and comfortable.
Breakfast was very nice. Lounge for guests had board games and an honesty bar. We didn’t use the sauna but it looked brand new and very inviting.
Minimalistic but Modern clean room that is a stone throw away from the train station. ( easy access to Champéry via train).

Warm welcome at the arrival, welcome drink in the wonderful restaurant, everything was perfect and I strongly recommend this place. 10 minute drive from Champery where you have departure from all skiing places.
Lovely staff, great location, clean rooms and a great view. Had so much fun on e-mountain bikes rented at property. Trails next to hotel. Delicious fondue and lamb chops at restaurant also with lovely views.
The apartment is super nice and cozy, amazing location with view and only 10 min from Champery ski slopes. Thierry was amazing in ensure our best staying in the apartment. Will come back!
