Ibis budget hotels, while not luxurious, are perfectly fine when needing to go somewhere last minute or on a budget. Despite being a Budget hotel, the room was clean, large enough for two people and small bags, and was quiet. The room has two separate beds which was nice as we also have this at home. Finally, this is easily accessed by several bus lines and a 5 minute walk.

Location was great. Right in old town and small block to River. Loved looking over the square- very picturesque. The staff was very lovely and helpful. Breakfast was perfect with good variety. We had two rooms the one with pull out sofa was very good sized and had two large windows with view of square. Our room for two was smaller but perfect for our needs- comfortable. They have a lovely terrace to sit for breakfast or whenever.
Opening in December 2016, Boutiquehotel Anker Luzern is located in a historical building in the center of Luzern, right on the Pilatusplatz square.

The entire staff was amazing, including front desk Carla. We loved the unique, quirky design and accessories. We also loved our fabulous huge balcony overlooking the old city. Breakfast was great also.

Absolutely amazing views and perfect location. Within walking distance to all of the main attractions. I highly recommend this place especially with a balcony.

Hotel De la Paix is located in the heart of Lucerne, near the lion monument, at the entrance of the old quarter and 656 feet from the famous Vierwaldstätter lake.
It's a nice village close to Luzern and Stans. You can easily get the train to Luzern or Engelberg and visit the Stanserhorn bahn or the Titlis bahn. Where you can ski, take in the beautiful views or do some walking.
It is by the lake and there are some good restaurants close by and also by the lake with lovely views and good pizza! you can also take a nice walk around the lake too.

A lovely hotel, with friendly and helpful staff, in a beautiful lakeside location.
A 16-minute train journey from Luzern and well worth it for the lakeside views and its proximity to Stans.
Try to get a room with a balcony and a view of the lake.
Breakfast is very good.
Its adjacent pizzeria was warm and welcoming with a lovely smell of woodsmoke and the best pizzas I have ever tasted.
Good choice of starters and desserts too.

The hotel was a perfect overnight stop over on our camper van trip to Tuscany. Staff were welcoming and friendly, rooms were roomy and comfortable. A perfect location just off the A2 so no huge detour of our route south, upon arrival what struck us was how quiet and clean the whole area was. The restaurant food was really good with the icing on the cake being breakfast (included) which was amazing. Would not hesitate to stop here again on our next van holiday.
We like the host service specially “Alexandra”, she helped us a lot with all our concerns, as she made free upgrade to the best suite. The hotel is in good location with view direct to the lake and quite area. Also our suite is high quality furniture and nice design. In addition, there is bakery, grocery and restaurants 1 min walking from the hotel. Surly we will return back to this hotel again!

The location was great, with two restaurants nearby, within walking distance. The staff was very friendly, and the beds were comfy. We were staying in the Junior Suite which had a beautiful view of the lake. If you are taking the ferry to Mt. Pilatus, there is a pickup point right next to the hotel, only steps away. Would highly recommend!!
We loved this hotel. The staff were so helpful. We’d forgotten to get francs and they went out if their way to sort it for us. You can park safely over the road for a small charge. The location is stunning. The room service meal we had was delicious. We had two dogs with us so lovely walks nearby . We will definitely stay there again.
Very nice hotel by the lake. Staff were super nice. There is a wellness center in the basement which you can reserve for free. Includes sauna, steam bath and jacuzzi. Breakfast was nice. It had fresh orange juice! Since it was Christmas, they gave out luck draw prizes and receive two bottles of wine! This was an excellent hotel!!
Receptionists were welcoming and friendly. Hotel within walking distance of several restaurants, including a Thai restaurant (includes vegetarian options), pizzeria (belongs to the hotel, offers take-aways) and several traditional Swiss restaurants. Difficult to get a table without prior booking. Nice bakery in the village.
Location on Lake Lucerne was great, and near mountains and hiking. Parking under the hotel was convenient and not too expensive. Breakfast was good, and staff very helpful. Old town, just a short train ride away.
