We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location of the hotel is amazing. The staff was really friendly, we had a nice sized room with a big bed, the room was very clean. Our room was right on the street and we thought it would be loud at night, but it was so quiet that we slept like babies. There are lots of nice restaurants located right in the area of the hotel. We arrived by bike, and the hotel had a bike room where our bikes were locked up safely. The real highlight for us was the breakfast. The quality of the food was very high and all of the food offered were local products (From the bread, to the jam, eggs, cheeses, yogurt, meats, juice, you name it).

I had deliberately reserved a room without shower/wc and was gratified to find two towels and a flannel at the washbasin. Perfect! The view from the room was of the Kloster. I felt very much at home. The room was immaculate ( in almost new condition). Breakfast was very good and the buffet had a good selection of hot food, breads, cheese, meat, juices etc. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent location.
Breakfast was delicious with high quality ingredients, size of the room was really satisfying for a family of four, staff were eager to find solutions to your questions, parking and baby bed were freely provided, hotel is close to one good water park and shopping mall. There are also child play areas where it is possible to play table tennis and there are various children books and toys in the -1 floor. Overall it is a hotel I can stay again if I stay around the same area
The location is perfect because you can reach the main cities and other attractions from the train/bus station, which is 1 minute walk from the hotel. Also the boat stop is very close, from there you can take a boat ride and visit the other side of the lake, islands, etc.
The room was very clean and comfortable, the view from the windows is beautiful, you can see the mountain and Etzel.
The staff is very friendly, the communication was clear and frequently.
Basically it is a seminar hotel, with nice & clean rooms, a few restaurant options and a casino within the bulding, in walking distance to train station (5-10min) and also -along the lake- to beautiful Rapperswil (50-60min); easy to reach by car. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Great hotel, just in front of the lake, near Alpamare Water Park, Seedam center (full of shopping and restaurants). Great location 30 minutos from Zurich downtown and easy way to travel to other places nearby. Very good breakfast. Easy and free parking.
The location was very nice, right on the lake and the hotel as a whole was pleasant. There was a simple but good continental breakfast included in the price. The staff were very pleasant. The room was big and the bed comfortable.
The Hotel is fantastically situated on the edge of the lake was great for me on my visit for work. Lovely food for dinner and breakfast and I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to stay outside of the city.
