Special attention to the Vesperata calendar (open-air evening music performance with drinks/snacks - must make reservation) . Better not to go with your car to downtown (difficult to park and terrible for the suspension/wheels). Better ask for a van or a ride and walk there (be prepared for steepy slopes).
