A lovely stay. The room was clean and well prepared. The breakfast was homemade and amazing. The location is great for walks in the National park. The host Francisco was excellent. Local knowledge and breakfast preparation. We grew to love this place. The surrounding village is very rustic, but once settled in it had its local charm. Thank you.

the Villa is newly renovated. It is beautifully done with lovely gardens. Some of the fruit on our huge breakfast buffet was picked from the garden that morning. The breakfast was amazing! The owners are lovely and very helpful with local suggestions.
It was a beautiful house in the middle of an old abandoned mountain village, which got beautifully restored for tourism. It was surrounded by nature and the forrest and it was like a little rest for the soul.
What a beautiful and luxury house for my stay! So comfortable, clean and relaxing circumstances after a long trip. My room was just next to the pool, however, the weather was cool. To me, the pool was a bonus. A big kitchen, good parking at the premises, and refresh breakfast. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Casa da Padaria is a very beautiful stone house very close to the center of the village of Piodao and with a great view over the mountains. The house is extremely well maintained and clean. The breakfast was of high quality and the host is very pleasant. We strongly recommend.
A wonderful opportunity to experience the mountains and the Schist villages in central Portugal. The accommodation was authentic and comfortable- our host Gabriel and his lovely Mother were a pleasure to communicate with. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower lovely! We are of average fitness but managed to do the 9km loop walk through the main villages which was absolutely beautiful. The village of Pena is so peaceful and and scenic. I would highly recommend this accommodation and experience- it is an absolutely unique!

Cerdeira is a mountain retreat that is really unique. A small schist village with a creative difference. I enjoyed the peaceful night sounds of the small creek, the day hikes and even a dip in the (cold, cold cold) 'tank'! Simple and close to nature, this place is ideal for those who just want to just chill and get immersed in that book you've wanted to read forever. Great for a solo traveller. Great WIFI for those that need to fit in work.
Very luxurious and comprehensive amenities! We especially like that the TV was able to connect to Netflix and other streaming services. The jacuzzi tub was perfect after a long day of walking up and down hill, on the beautiful streets and alleys of Coimbra. The view from our room was just magnificent!! The breakfast was served to us in our room, which only added to the luxury. Everything about the stay was perfect! If there's a vacancy, book it! Don't hesitate!
