It is 10 minutes’ driving from Piódão village. Luis helped us with our broken car. This was very kind. The location and the view was amazing. The lodge was very private.

Each unit is different from each other. They all include a seating area and heating, and some have a fireplace. The interiors give continuity to the rustic-style of the building. Host was waiting for us, always really polite. He also promptly made a few suggestions on where we could go to have a great meal. We followed the advice and, again, exceeded expectations. I also would like to mention that since we were going to take the kids to see the snow, the host advise us were to go in Serra da Estrela as a few spots were closed due to hazards caused by the weather. And this was even before arriving.
