Very spacious and comfortable. Warm. Loved the outdoor deck and view of the lake. Great to watch sunsets each evening. Fantastic to have a fireplace and generous supply of firewood. Very easy communication and a lovely stay for our family get together. Nice lounge with comfy sofas, and enough seating for us all to lazily relax in. Well stocked kitchen. Great location and a quick drive into town and the hot pools. Couldn’t fault it. Thank you

Love the rustic setting and well spaces Villas allowing privacy. The Villa is well layer out with two bedrooms each with ensuite which worked perfectly for two friends sharing. Loved the bar area and open fire (although I have no idea why you would keep the grate up in front of it, I dont see this being required in other establishments). However Iwas told this was a health and safety requirement.
Peaceful, heavenly retreat. Incredible views, total luxury, everything thought of, superb hosts.
Creel Lodge is made up of really well-appointed villas set in mature peaceful gardens, sited beside the walkway along the Tongariro River. The bird life in the garden is wonderful, and there are barbecues set up all over the place inviting you to spend a lot of your time outside. I stay there often, and I always look forward to the serene atmosphere.
We stayed in one of the studio villas. Lovely surroundings. Pools were great and such an nice atmosphere.
We stayed at De Bretts for a family gathering, so spent the majority of time at the villas the rest of the family were staying in. Our accommodation was compact but had everything we needed, a good heat pump kept us warm and a decent size fridge kept the drinks and breakfast items cold. Bed was reasonably comfortable and had a couple of decent sleeps.
