Remote location was wonderful for a country retreat. Not a lot near by which is why we loved it.
View was amazing also location was very decent. Definitely will recommend this place for someone who's love nature and village views/mood.
The most beautiful place I ever stayed at. You will not be disappointed, I cannot explain in words how beautiful the lodge is and the surroundings. Its cozy buy luxurious, minimalist and gives you the feeling of home. We had everything we needed there, the grill was perfect and we could cook our meals every day. You have pans, cups, platesc, salt, sugar, oil, everything you can imagine, it is exactly like your home!!! I cannot wait for the next time I will come back there
Location is within minutes of the Secret lagoon in the same village along the Golden Circle. Also within 30-60 mins from Gullfoss waterfall, Geyser and Thingvillir National Park with Silfra 2 tectonic continental plate snorkling center. The guesthouse is part of the Hill Hotel, their Restaurant has nice local food and is just across the road.
Location this hotel is really great. We felt in this village like in some christmas movie. Everything you need is really close - a great food hall and supermarket. Best attractions were around 1 hour ago - Geysir, Reykjavik and waterfalls. Good choice when you want to visit more places and stay at one place.
The position of the room near the lake and Fontana Spa. The little village is fascinating during the night. The room has all the facilities we need. Reccomed
We stayed here for our final night and it was amazing. It's like a Bond villain's lair ...very cool. We loved our room and made use of the outdoor thermal pool, which was definitely needed after a long day's sightseeing. They have a Northern Lights service where they wake you if they appear, which they did! We had an amazing dinner and also some lovely cocktails in the very cool bar. Genuinely couldn't have loved it any more - the hotel and seeing the Northern Lights made it extremely special.
