Literally located in the centre of Oldcastle, close to everything you want to see in this hidden gem of a town. The house itself is modern, spotless, with everything you need. We cooked our dinner in the brand new kitchen, which has a coffee machine as well. The living room area has a TV with Netflix, YouTube etc, and the most comfortable sofa you can imagine. The bedroom was pure luxury, and the bathroom had products you'd be happy to find in a really good hotel. Basically this house is like a really nice hotel room, except it's a whole house. Can't wait to go back soon. 👏😀

We were blown away by the size of the accommodation, the friendliness of Peter and the value for money at this property. We stayed here to attend a wedding in Cabra Castle and it was fantastic. We easily got a taxi home from the wedding and it was lovely to come back to! Peter met us when we arrived and was so warm and welcoming! The place was spotless and would highly recommend Rathgillen House for a stay.

Very cosy a christmassey with a little tree up which we loved. The host Peter was a gentleman and helped us out big time to get us to a wedding as no taxi was available. We were greeted by Patch the dog on arrival she was the best!

The property has a minimarket, a restaurant with an outdoor dining area. 10/10 Could not recommend this place more! 😄 Fantastic location, this cottage is just off the main street in duleek, and right beside TRIBE restaurant (best pizza we have ever had). Karla's cottage was spotless, you could have had your dinner off the floor. Spacious for our group of 8 and beds were incredibly comfy! If your looking for a weekend away, this is the perfect choice!

I loved the whole house it was so spacious and plenty of space for the little kids to get about and not on top of each other. It was bigger than i thought it would. I loved the rooms they all looked decent sizes and no complaints about them. I had the master room that was so big and lovely. I loved the views we had from the house and how you can walk to the farm you have. The kids loved it. The kitchen was perfect you had all the utensils we would ever need, which was great.
