The space was small, but perfect for two and had every appliance we needed for meals and hot drinks. The bathroom was clean and the shower heated quicker than ours at home. Llandrindod Wells had a few pubs and grocery stores that were close and convenient. Surrounding cities like Newtown, Rhayader, and Builth Wells were great for pub dinners.

Every room is lovingly decorated with selected prints and other works of art, the kitchen is clean and generously supplied with all the basics, the bedroom right under the old rafters very romantic, a great shower, and a very comfy bed. The locations is just perfect, on the main street in Hay, there's a little supermarket two houses down, a good butcher opposite and of course all of those bookstores just a few minutes away. The evening meal was delicious and the we ate in the Bistro, at a time that suited us. The breakfast was a good mixture of cooked and continental breakfast. You could help yourself to as much as you wanted. The room was very clean and comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. We did part of the history walk around the village and learnt a lot about the surrounding area. It was the perfect place to stay
A lovely cooked breakfast. A pretty quiet village, very peaceful
Great location, in a village. Hotel rooms had modern touch, but kept historic feel. Food was good, no complaints from me. I had evening meal and breakfast Staff polite. Would definitely stay again.
We could arrive at our own time. The key lock box was easy to find. The cottage was lovely with a mountain stream and a little beach right behind the house. We loved having our meals on the terrace listening to the water. The village has a nice little pub and everyone was very friendly.
Very well equipped, central location, brilliant outside space, tastefully decorated. Lovely village lots of pubs and restaurants.
The location is fantastic, offering a beautiful view of the village and being very close to the river. The building is very well-maintained and clean. The bar area is cozy and comfortable, and there is a beautiful breakfast area with well-presented background music. The breakfast is very nice, and the staff is very friendly.
