We stayed at Pen-Rhos in “Cuckoo’s Nest for four nights in mid January. The scenery surrounding the ‘cabin’ was breathtaking and there was enough space between each cabin for privacy. The space was small, but perfect for two and had every appliance we needed for meals and hot drinks. The bathroom was clean and the shower heated quicker than ours at home. Llandrindod Wells had a few pubs and grocery stores that were close and convenient. Surrounding cities like Newtown, Rhayader, and Builth Wells were great for pub dinners.

Loved the extra touch of holiday decorations since we were there over Christmas. Loved the usb outlets around the cottage, as it made for easy charging. Loved the hot tub! Loved having a kettle and teapot! Loved having pots and pans, oven baking sheets, and a fridge.

Beautiful shepherd hut. Bedding and towels were provided and were great quality and very pretty. The shower was wonderful and the fact we had a fridge there was a lifesaver as the weather was 38C! Close enough to Royal Welsh Show to travel in daily. May be difficult to get up the steps and also on to the bed if you have limited mobility but I use a stick and managed it. Highly recommend

An absolutely perfect weekend away with friends to Pant Y Rhedyn. There are so many excellent facilities, the hot tub and games room were amazing and kept us all entertained. Incredible views from the hot tub, the house itself is beautiful and all the rooms were exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip, we will definitely have to revisit in the future! thank you
