Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Upper Gelli Luxury Holiday Lodge, Converted Dairy & Cosy Shepherds Huts is a recently renovated holiday home situated in Welshpool, 19 km from Dolforwyn Castle. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Rooms have a balcony with views of the garden. We had a fantastic holiday and enjoyed all the lovely details within the lodge, everything was decorated with so much love and it is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy fantastic views. Bryn and his sweet dogs gave us a warm welcome. We highly recommend the lodge and are happy to be coming back to this wonderful place soon. The lodge was perfect for our dog as well, everything is fenced and dog proof, so not only a wonderful place for people, but also for dogs :)

Cosy character cottage in quiet village location. Great place to relax and unwind. Lovely walks. Wonderful host.

Guests at Alltybrain Farm Cottages and Farmhouse B&B can enjoy hiking nearby, or make the most of the garden. Such a beautiful place on earth! This was the absolute highlight on my trip through South Wales and England! The farm has a great location and is a perfect starting point for discovering the Brecon Beacons National Park. Even the coast is reachable as part of a day-trip. The landscape around the farm is very rural with lots of different animals and a lovely garden. The atmosphere at Alltybrain Farm is very familiar and the hosts, Rose and Patrick are just amazing! I directly felt welcome in their home! They even produce their own bee honey - don't miss to take with you a glass! The homemade breakfast was fantastic, too. If you are interested in getting to know the Welsh countryside and kindhearted people, I warmly recommend this place! 🧡

Pen-Rhos luxury glamping "Cuckoo's Nest", a property with a terrace, is set in Llandrindod Wells, 34 km from Clun Castle, 36 km from Dolforwyn Castle, as well as 38 km from Wigmore Castle. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. The property is non-smoking and is located 28 km from Elan Valley. We stayed at Pen-Rhos in “Cuckoo’s Nest for four nights in mid January. The scenery surrounding the ‘cabin’ was breathtaking and there was enough space between each cabin for privacy. The space was small, but perfect for two and had every appliance we needed for meals and hot drinks. The bathroom was clean and the shower heated quicker than ours at home. Llandrindod Wells had a few pubs and grocery stores that were close and convenient. Surrounding cities like Newtown, Rhayader, and Builth Wells were great for pub dinners.

This holiday home features a garden. Location was perfect & the house is idyllic - full of character & very cosy, we were delighted with our stay there & would highly recommend. Host was lovely to communicate with.

Each cottage has a well equipped kitchen, a barbecue and a patio. There is also a dining area and a sitting room with a flat-screen TV. A dog walking service is available on request for an additional fee. The cottage was amazing and the facilities were a great addition. The view was outstanding, watching the sun rise every morning from the cottage window was beautiful. Having access to the spa and pool after a day of exploring helped us to relax and unwind. The children loved having their own upstairs space along with all the outside space for playing and running around.

Hay Retreats is located in a quiet cul-de-sac near to the town Centre. There are two neighboring pet friendly townhouses, numbers 25 and 26. These contemporary townhouses overlook the River Wye and have car ports out front, that can accommodate up to two cars . A spacious and clean apartment with plenty of room for our family of four. We really enjoyed the location just around the corner from the main clock tower, and luckily in town during the Thursday farmers market, which was lovely. The apartment was well furnished with comfy couch and two arm chairs on main floor (with plenty of board games to keep us occupied), full size dining table on bottom floor with a large outdoor area overlooking the river and large kitchen. Bedrooms were comfy and our kids loved their twin bedded room. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Boasting garden views, Awelfa a peaceful cottage in the Cambrian mountains features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 44 km from Elan Valley. Featuring bicycle parking, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. It was a very lovely stay at Llanbrynmair. The hosts have provided everything you need to make your stay very comfortable. Lovely living area with Smart TV and WIFI. Kids enjoyed a lot watching their favourite movies. Modern Kitchen, Bathroom and the beds are very comfortable too. Beautiful views from the bedrooms. Outside living areas are amazing and you can spend the evenings in calm and quiet atmosphere. Our dog Bella loved watching the sheep over the fence at the back of the house and that was her favourite spot :) The Hafran Forrest, the Llyn Clywedog reservoir and the Old Lead Mine are situated 15-20 mins away from the cottage. There are two small groceries nearby but would recommend to stock up if you need more varieties. Very responsive hosts who have gone an extra mile to make your stay a very memorable one.
