Our short break stay in this lovely home was very comfortable. It is beautifully presented throughout and had everything we needed. Of the bedrooms available, we used the two double rooms (one for us parents and the other for our teen). There were plenty of quality furnishings and we appreciated the little blanket throws that we could use with our dog for cuddles on the sofa. Situated in a residential street of terraced houses it was still a quiet space and the road outside was not noisy at all. It had a community park / tennis courts directly opposite with a lovely backdrop of the hills and trees in the valley. A short way along to the end of the road was also a ramblers footpath (handy for a dog walk). Also, just a few minutes drive down the road was the stunning 'Guardian of the Valley' sculpture which was a moving memorial to see. The location of the house was also great to visit Goytre Wharf on the edge of the Brecon Beacons (about 25 mins drive). There was also a large Tesco in Abertillery which had everything we needed. The local people we met and chatted with were very friendly.

The property as a whole was amazing and well equipped. The beds were comfy. My son loved the loft room. The views from the windows was lovely. As it was a family retreat for my birthday and seeing another part of Wales I would give it 10/10 for indoors. As was rather cold this weekend we didn't venture outside in the back garden.
Very comfortable, clean, luxury apartament, great location and definitely place you feel like at home.
Quite and cosy cottage, amazing pub in the village. Close to a lot of beautiful locations.
As you arrive you are able to find a space for resident parking at the roadside. The key is easy to locate in a lockbox with all details communicated by the host well before check-in. The house was spotlessly clean and well furnished, comfy beds and a smart Tv. There is a Tesco located in the village centre with an excellent restaurant called VAMOS close by!
Second time staying at this property. We have friends who live in the village so location is ideal. Check in details superb, property clean with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Lovely , very homely with all the comforts . The vendor was very attentive in making sure everything was tip top for us . Everyone in the village was really friendly including our furry cat and sheep neighbours
It was perfect! you wouldn’t know you were on the edge of a village. So much hard work has gone into making the cabin what it is. It’s cosy and you have everything you need, the fire pit was lovely to sit by in the evening and watch the squirrels chase each other and there so much to do within a 30 minute drive if you don’t want to stay at the cabin. We will definitely be back!
