Lovely village location. Rooms were nicely decorated, comfortable bed in main bedroom, spacious and very clean. It was super warm too. Property is in a lovely village location, the restaurant was beautiful with great food. We had dinner and breakfast and could not fault any of it. They also have a pool table and darts which were good fun in the evening. We really enjoyed the place.
This is a fabulous quintessential English inn situated in a tiny village at the end of a long winding road. The staff could not have given us a warmer welcome. Well equipped room. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. I would give it give it more than 10/10 if that was allowed.
Gorgeous little retreat in a pretty, chocolate box village. Peaceful and quiet but within easy reach of amenities and the coast.
It is the perfect countryside retreat with added luxury! We loved the room and toiletries that were in the room so much that we purchased some on our departure. The Cart Shed is also a lovely touch where they serve delicious cocktails.
Very clean and luxurious. Loved the theme and the decor. The location was perfect to explore the beachfront. I can see why all the comments mentioned Steve, really lovely guy!
lovely little holiday village sort of thing. cheap and cheerful
Beautiful, comfortable, homely, and welcoming. Charming and historical, luxuriously appointed, peaceful and cosy. Our room (a luxury suite) was gorgeous and spacious. The bed was very comfortable too, with lovely bed linen. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we could always park. We stayed over Christmas and it was perfect for us.
Room was spacious with a luxurious feel to it. The large shower was great. The accommodation overlooks the river and the large balcony makes full use of the views. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, delivered by Nikki to the room. It was great to have breakfast on the balcony taking in the views of the countryside. Nice easy walk across the field to the village pub where we had a nice evening meal. Hosts were fantastic and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
Excellent cooked breakfast, and we were able to eat it in the beautiful little garden. Very welcoming, friendly host, luxurious bathroom and comfy bed. Lovely to be able to sit in the secluded garden in the evening. Only a few minutes walk to the local village pub, with very friendly hosts and excellent pub food.
