There is street parking out front which was quite convenient. We walked over the chain bridge into Melrose (coffee, pubs, Melrose Abbey, groceries) which was lovely. There was coffee, tea and milk at the flat which was a nice touch & the view out to the garden so beautiful. We were also pleasantly surprised to find hair dryers with diffuser attachments! Everything was comfortable and clean, 10/10.

Great touches too -- chilled water, biscuits, coffee and tea for our arrival, loads of local information. Immaculate too. Log burner wasn't necessary for our summer stay but would be great in cooler weather. Host was really helpful prior to our arrival.

The cottage is wonderful, big and with plenty of facilities, with a big garden. The family has a horse, a sheep, two dogs and a cat and the children really appreciated this. We very extremely happy with our stay!
