Excellent breakfast & dinner. Lovely staff. Situated in a nice village, easy to find & there was parking outside our room
Our hosts were wonderfully helpful In helping us to sort out local buses. The unit is very well equipped and tastefully furnished. There is the ability to prepare your own food and to relax after a long day. It’s close to village amenities yet very quiet.
Lovely hotel in a quiet sleepy village The manager was super friendly & helpful and very efficient- she was more or less on her own & did a professional job - Food extremely good & catered for gluten free
A very comfortable and well presented little cottage in a nice little village. Has a nice little courtyard for sitting out with a G&T. Well stocked village shop. Kitchen was a little bit chilly first thing...a small infrared radiator ( on a timer) mounted on the wall would have taken the chill off the room, but it wasnt really too bad as the weather was reasonably warm. Would highly recommend.
Lovely cosy cottage, with all the necessary amenities and great location for visiting the borders area. In a small village with a good cafe and pub.
Perfect place to stay in a beautiful part of the world. Couldn’t hope for a nicer place to rest after a long run. Lovely village too. Nice touch with breakfast provided.
Who knew the luxury that awaits up a wee close in Hawick, excellent amenities, sumptuous bedding and towels, very clean and comfortable, the hosts were very understanding when I had to cancel the first night due to a migraine, they ventilated the apartment before I arrived and gave us a later check out the following day
Fantastic stay- Steph and Ned so welcoming. Room lovely and big and clean. Bed very comfy and cosy (especially with the gales outside!). Breakfast is traditional full English and there is a huge choice - excellent fare. Location great in the centre of the village close to the pub. Ideal for walking nearby. Highly recommended.
Superb location in lovely little village and wonderful countryside. Ideal for those doing the St Cuthbert's Way or those looking for a retreat to the countryside. The food was excellent. The local community were very welcoming and friendly. It was great to speak with a retired local shepherd (and his friends) – in the fantastic beer garden – who had worked on the local hills for most of his working life. The accommodation is well appointed and has been attractively modernised to a good standard.
