The property was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. It is in a good central location for east Ireland. From this location, we drove to Giants Causeway, Carrick a Rede rope bridge, Belfast, Blackrock County Louth, Dublin, Bray, and Avoca. All drives were 1-2 hours, but so nice to return to one place at the end of the day. The cottage has a wonderful view of Slieve Gullion. We drove around all sides of the mountain and to the top. The drive to the top is absolutely breathtaking!!! The host was wonderful. He checked almost everyday to see if we needed anything and gave us tips on places to see each day. Be sure to try Murphy Bar as it is much more impressive on the inside and the food is great. The local Mace grocery had most things we needed. It is a short drive into Newry for large supermarkets and a shopping mall. The cottage is equipped for cooking so we ate breakfast and dinner there and packed a lunch. I can’t say enough good things about this cottage!!! We stayed there 6 days.

Room was luxurious and modern
Very nice area near Mourne Mountains, less than 1 hour drive Belfast City centre. The pub and hotel in the village serve delicious food at affordable prices. The house is big, clean and good Internet, tv and wii console. Seán was great to deal with. The key collection was easily arranged, and we weren't rushed when leaving
The staff were super friendly, the location was lovely, the room was big spotless and luxurious and the food was amazing. One of my favourite hotels I’ve ever stayed in.
Rooms where unreal, spacious and luxurious Nothing was too much trouble
A dream-like mansion for a perfect stay! The house is the countryside manor of your dreams, on a beautiful hilltop with immense rooms all beautifully furbished. The host is fantastic, an old style gentleman. He cooked for us the most elaborate Mediterennean breakfast and he even brought us his own records collection to listen to. Thank you Jim!
It was in a lovely wee village and it was very homely and comfortable and everything was just at hand
Immaculate home and pretty garden, luxurious bedroom and spacious en suite, generous and delicious breakfast, beautiful rural views. Dorothy was very warm and welcoming.
Excellent location ten minutes’ walk to town and a parking spot beside the House. Kitchen is very well equipped. Room was clean and comfortable. The Name “Luxury Rose” is a bit over the top, as it is a normal former family home, with no outstanding amenities.
Beautiful grounds. Great walks to do if feeling energetic. Hotel was luxurious, staff very friendly.
