The house is a beautifully restored historic cottage in a quiet impasse (cul de sac) about a hundred yards from the main square in Malestroit. It is in a perfect location for the town and it's probably the best equipped and most comfortable self catering property we have been to. One piece of advice to renters, who will probably be using a car. You have to park two or three minutes walk away; Floriane the owner suggests where but it's worth allowing a little time to sus out the parking places when you arrive in the town.

A great hotel, traditional but very comfortable and friendly. We liked the secure parking at the back. The restaurant offers an excellent menu. The manager was professional, efficient and very friendly. Guilliers is a quite village but close to a lot of interesting locations.
Very comfortable, stylish villa in a stunning location. Best nights sleep in a very long time, falling asleep to the sound of the sea. Very comfortable beds, everything spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen. Large outside, with a dining table, great for watching the waves. Can't wait to go back!
This place is exceptional. Imagine a large, private villa with 15 foot ceilings that has been designed with extremely elegant and contemporary taste. The furnishings are beautiful, the kitchen sleek, the living room is spacious and beautiful, the baths are great. I would happily live here permanently. In addition, the hosts are extremely kind and always around to help (if you need it). The location is phenomenal and you have a private, gated parking spot. Needless to say, highly recommended!
Hosts, Pauline snd Clement, are kind and very helpful. Very clean and modern room/bath. The location was in the edge if the village with the benefits of countryside:quiet and peaceful. All services available in the village. st Anne d’Auray is 2 Km away. St Goustan 19 minutes away. We will stay again!
A unique 12th century manor house in a very quiet location in a tiny village just off the N165. Very sympathetically modernised Nadine and her husband were charming hosts. Probably the best breakfasts ever and different each of the 3 days of our visit.
Nice house with great garden. The house is spacious and the kitchen is well equiped. Locmariaquer is a nice village close by, plenty of things to do in the surroundings.
Village is cute but most places are closed on several days of the week so be careful with your planning as the nearest village is quite a way.
Excellent gite in a lovely location. It's an old Fishermans house (1860's) over 3 floors, recently refurbed to a high standard. The house is on the village square, yards from the St Cado's Cat Tapas bar. A few steps further takes you to the waterfront by the Madam Mouette restaurant. We wandered over the causeway to the island several times, watching the estuary change with the tides and light. St Cado provided a great base for touring the area. Car parking is in the village square and there was no problem finding a space.
Communications about keys/ keycode was straightforward and easy. We visited out of season so the complex was almost empty, and very quiet. The inside living space was very compact and having a balcony gave more space . .more than 2 people would be very tight fit . Everything worked and it was easy to work out how to use the appliances. The village walkable to, and has excellent boulangerie and butcher. Good place to explore from.
