The host was incredibly helpful on providing contacts for all the things we wanted to do.

It is located walking distance to Thermales, waterfalls and jungle. Anna, the owner was super sweet and was attentive to anything you wanted to do. her speaking english really helped me get the most out of my stay. I would highly recommend Casa Colibri, I hope to return and if I do I will stay here.

Incredible views of Sapzurro and friendly and accommodating staff. The open floor plan had great breezes from the sea and possibly the best views of Sapzurro you could have. Full kitchen and easy to cook meals.

Kike is a responsible person for organising the tours. They are very friendly. They have a pavilion in front of the beach, I can put the hammock and enjoy the beautiful sea view.

We had such a lovely stay, this place is absolutely magical. Such a special place on the edge of this beautiful little village and the walk through the river, up the stream and into the jungle made it even more magical. A beautiful cabin, (the photos do not do it justice) and a shower under the stars. Valentina, the host, is so kind and welcoming, she made us feel so at home. Could not recommend this place more if you want simple living off the beaten track. Wish we could have stayed longer!
El Vijo is a paradise, I would especially recommend it for groups and couples. It is about a 20 mins walk to the next (very) small village, although the walk is not always possible due to the tide. Adolpho and Deude did an amazing job. The food was delicious and Adolpho very kind and helpful. As a solo traveller I would recommend somewhere else but for couples seeking tranquility or groups of friends looking for an amazing experience I would highly recommend it. Looking forward to my next stay there.
PROS: - amazing views to the beach, probably the best in the village - Monica is a great host who is engaged with the local community - several different spaces to relax and watch the ocean - nice chill vibe
The family that run the Cabana are the best. Very helpful and relaxed and they do washing too! They also generously let us pay via PayPal because there is no cash machine in the village and we were low on cash. ( We are stupid British tourists). They have the most adorable dog and cats! The breakfast pizza we had was the best breakfast we've had from any hostel we have stayed in this trip! I don't usually write reviews regularly but because the family went above and beyond for us. :) Thank you! Bryn and Emma x
A very rural and special location - you really feel off the beaten track here. It’s certainly not luxury but you have everything that you need Elias and William who manage the place were extremely friendly and welcoming - Elias greets you with a coffee the second you wake up and both went out of their way to help us despite us barely speaking a word of the same language. They also helped us with a whale tour and seeing turtles
The hosts are very friendly and helpful, the accommodation beautiful and very clean! The village is very cute, in a remote location. Everyone is very friendly and it feels like you get to live the real village life where everyone knows each other. There are some beautiful tours and locations to discover around Nuquí.
Chris and Sandra were amazing, incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. Sandra’s food is the best in the village! Garden and beach were perfect to chill on all day. Best place we stayed in Colombia.

Staying at the Herping means supporting and living with an amazing local family. Mailer and Carmen make you feel at home, and he is the best jungle guide in the village!
