From the very warm and very helpful staff, especially Miss Nhi, and the surprisingly wonderful accommodation (the interior ; very spacious ;; furniture ( plus the amazing bed) we actually did not expect too much knowing they are located not so known to tourists. It was actually a beautiful surprise to find this gem..Nhi, can converse in English well, so she can really assist you all-throughout. Don't forget to ask her where to try the best local buffalo restaurant in town😉😍.. We visited Halo Retreat while touring Vietnam on our motorcycles. We had a fantastic stay and are very grateful to our host who guided us to a mechanic to fix an issue with one of our bikes. Our room was clean and modern, the bed was very comfortable, the evening meal we had was delicious and I have high praise for our friendly and helpful hosts. I also enjoyed the location, which was peaceful and close to nature. Many thanks for a rememberable stay.

The big plus was the food - the food was more than excellent, among the best that I have had in my stays in Vietnam!
The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. Bathrooms were very clean. Beautiful view of the village and mountains from the bedroom and patio. Breakfast was included and the hosts accommodated for an extra cot we needed. The host family was very accommodating and helpful.
We absolutely loved our stay at Mai Chau! The team treated us like family, even making us home woven scarves on our departure. The retreat is so so beautiful and peaceful, we wish we had stayed longer but can’t wait to go back some day! And even though we went during off season it was still stunning here (next time we’ll be back for warmer weather to utilize the outdoor pools). One of the highlights of our trip was biking around with Ung and seeing the village and the beautiful landscapes of the area (HIGHLY recommend)
I had a lovely 2 night stay where I felt quite at home. The family are very genuine and relaxed hosts who make you feel at ease and their home is situated in a lovely village with a school and small textile market close by. It's a nice short bike ride to the main town for supplies if needed. The food cooked for breakfast and dinner was incredible, definitely a highlight.
Nha hang Non served delicious lunch and a fun, delicious BBQ dinner set up and served right at our villa. The surrounding is so beautiful and tranquil. The private pool is definitely worth the money. My parents had a great great time.
