I was here just for the night. The host organised a free pick and drop service and was polite and helpful. I found it safe are to walk around at night and there is a 7/11 not to far away and also a street food market incase you get in late and need a meal once Restaurants close for the night. They have a common pantry area that can be accessed 24*7 which was pretty cool.

If you need a peaceful and quiet stay, this is the perfect place, and you can also find amazing local restaurants in a walking distance (Thai Mama is highly recommended).

Our stay at El Cid Villa in Koh Samui was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were taken aback by the stunning viewpoint from our private pool and the main bedroom – it was nothing short of magical.
The real highlight of our stay, however, was the incredible hospitality of the hosts, Reynold and Nikki. Upon our arrival, we encountered an issue where we couldn't find our friend who was supposed to meet us at the villa. Reynold went above and beyond, searching for him until he was found. This set the tone for our entire week. Reynold and Nikki were always available and incredibly helpful, ensuring our stay was perfect in every way. They truly are the heart and soul of this property.
During our stay, Reynold showcased his grilling skills by cooking us dinner twice, and Nikki's breakfasts were eagerly anticipated each morning. Their culinary expertise added an extra special touch to our experience.
The location of El Cid Villa offers breathtaking views, which do come with a bit of a challenge in terms of accessibility. However, Reynold made everything easier by organizing taxis and helping us rent scooters, which we thoroughly enjoyed riding up and down from the villa, making us feel like locals.
If you're looking for a stay that's right in the middle of all the island action, this might not be the place for you. But if you seek tranquility and some of the most beautiful views imaginable, El Cid Villa is perfect. While it does take a longer journey to reach places like Chaweng, we found the peace and stunning scenery well worth it.
Overall, we loved our time at El Cid Villa and can't wait to return in the future. Highly recommended for a relaxing and picturesque getaway.

The value for money was exceptional, offering a beach cottage experience with concierge service that outshone many five-star hotels we stayed at. Impressively, we discovered that beachfront Sea&Sky event villa, part of the complex, is the perfect venue for our wedding next year, suitable both for the celebration and a honeymoon.
Popped into Sea&Sky for just a couple of days to celebrate my wife's birthday and got an unexpected gift – an upgrade from our booked cottage to a gorgeous villa with a private pool! The cottage looked awesome, but the villa was next level. The staff, the local cafes and shops, and that beach – just wow. Honestly, Sea&Sky is a top pick for those who want the spaciousness that's beyond a hotel room, but with the service quality of a top-notch hotel.
