We've stayed at River Villa in the beginning of November. A family of 7. Now about the house. People are different and their needs are different. For our big family it was the best place. The house is situated in a quiet place. There is a wonderful garden with plants, flowers and fruits. Jeanne treated us all the time with different fruits. In the morning when you wake up you hear all the birds and frogs in the garden, like you are in the heart of the jungle, it's great! The house is really big. There are two bedrooms on the first floor snd two on the second, with bathroom for the each one. There is a big hall, where there are a lot of books and boardgames, in the evening our children played chess. The house is decorated in the colonial style. So it is a strange effect: the house is big, but cosy at the same time. In the kitchen you have everything you need and even more. 2 Fridges, oven, dishwasher, coffee-machine, electric teapot, all the kitchen things. There is a splendid place for the laundry. And washing machine. What else? You can reach the beach in 10 minutes by feet, there is a quiet little one not far from the house. And to reach shops and Bouvaloon it takes 20 minutes by feet. Me and my wife really enjoyed our stay at the villa. Our room was very clean and comfortable and it had a great balcony overlooking the ocean and the surrounding hills. We had many cups of coffee on that balcony during mornings. And we spent a lot of time hanging out there in the evenings. The host Daphne is very welcoming and helpful woman. She helped us to book a boat tour, helped us to hire a car. She was always ready to do something to make our stay comfortable. Her husband drove us to the airport when it was time to leave the island. The villa is 10-minute away from one of the best beaches on the Mahé island.
