The host was very flexible and kind when we needed to reschedule our stay because of a flight cancellation. The apartment itself is in a newly renovated house with four apartments. Everything is new and clean, the kitchen is well equipped, wifi is very good. There is a washing machine which can be useful (it was for us). I think the apartment is best fit for two people, but we were there as a family of four and we didn't feel uncomfortable for a single minute. I truly recommend the Casas do Baleeiro!!!

Very good apartment, Ana was very helpful and accessible by phone: suggesting best places to eat and shop. There is big supermarket Continente just few minutes away from the house, bus station from where are plenty of buses to Funchal.
